These flashes have something that most do not- They have very TV-like qualities, like unpredictable twists and dramatic build-up. (like when Mario entered the castle in the first episode) The fight with Hooktail was clever and though not in Mario tastes, I think that's a good thing that you have your own style. I also like how not every event seems or is essential. (Or at least not immediately) I'm gonna be wondering where Croco fits into this story until the next one's finished.

Truly, this is something different and despite being Mario, you've completely made it your own.
